Nearly 30 Years of Legal Experience

Since 1997

Before becoming a lawyer, Marshall Miller grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he spent many summers lifeguarding on the Outer Banks beaches — a connection that ties him closely to the people and communities of Northeastern North Carolina.

Marshall graduated from Old Dominion University and earned his Juris Doctor from the Norman A. Wiggins School of Law. He was admitted to practice in North Carolina in 1997 and began his career as an Assistant District Attorney for the State of North Carolina’s 11th Judicial District.

After serving as a prosecutor, Marshall transitioned into private practice, where he built a reputation for strong advocacy in criminal defense, family law, traffic matters, and civil litigation.

  • Tried numerous criminal and civil jury trials to verdict

  • Represented thousands of clients across North Carolina

  • Built a practice focused on resolution, integrity, and client-first results

Today, as the founding attorney of Miller Law, he continues to serve clients in Currituck, Pasquotank, and Camden Counties, as well as across North Carolina with modern, results-focused services like online separation agreements and divorce coaching.
With Miller Law, you are not alone.

Service Beyond the Courtroom

Marshall’s commitment to service extends beyond his legal practice. He has served as a two-term elected Mayor and as President of the Harnett County Bar Association.
